Desolation of Smaug

So, I FINALLY went to see The Desolation of Smaug, and I ended up seeing it twice in the theatre.

After that, I now:
- hate Thranduil, and think he's a jerk
- same for Legolas (although I like him in LOTR)
- ship Kili and Tauriel (the whole 'she saves him and he grabs her hand' scene almost made me cry)
- have an indifferent feeling for Thorin

and that's about it.

Small Talk

The Hobbit is an exceptional book, leading to an exceptional series. I was at a loss for words when I first read The Hobbit. The dwarves may be clumsy, but make up for it with their fierce fighting techniques.

Fili and Kili

 

 

Fili and Kili are the nephews of Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit. When they are at Bilbo's house, they bow at the exact time while saying "At your service.".  The two, despite how young they look, aren't the youngest dwarves there. Kili is played by Adrian Turner, and Fili is played by Dean O'Gorman.

Chibi Dwarves!

Well, I posted this the day I was going to go see the second part to The Hobbit (The Desolation of Smaug). Unfortunately, the weather got too bad, but I might be going Sunday! :3
